by on Nov.17, 2013, under Other Musings

Here at 365, we have been following and supporting the work of the very talented Davide Melini. His latest short film “The sweet hand of the White Rose” has THE SWEET HAND OF THE WHITE ROSEbeen selected for the final of the Spanish festival “Fantátik Granollers”!! Stunning news.

So get yourselves over to the website and offer your support by clicking on ‘La dulce mano de la Rosa Blanca’ and give it some serious ‘stars’ to leave your vote.

You can check out my review of The Sweet Hand of the White Rose here and also watch the short in all its glory.

Lets get behind this great talent filmmaker to encourage further films. Contemporary Italian film making doesn’t get better than this. I can’t wait to see what he has to offer next!

Crying Wolf

by on Nov.12, 2013, under Other Musings

As i’m sure you are all aware, here at 365, we love a bit of Brit Indie horror and better still if it involves wolves…. chainsaws too, but i’ll settle for wolves. So here we have it, Crying Wolf, from director Tony Jopia, of ‘Deadtime’ and the anticipated comedy horror ‘Cute Little Buggers’. Crying Wolf is a horror comedy… black imagecomedy i suspect and stars scream queen Caroline Munro amongst others, Gary Martin, Joe Egan, Kristofer Dayne and Ian Donnelly.

We’ll be following the publicity and awaiting release dates and further info so keep checking back for updates. You can also check them out here.

Here’s the blurb. ‘Crying Wolf’ starts its tale in the small village of Deddington where prankster Andy is bitten by a werewolf that kills his friend Charlotte. Andy tries to warn his friends, but winds up turning them into a pack of werewolves. Enter a pair of hapless journalists doomed to a grizzly end, then add a pair of hard boiled vigilantes hot on the heels of the werewolf pack and before you know it, everyone’s ‘Crying Wolf! during a bloody camping holiday in the Cotswolds’

Sound good? You bet. This could be a howling good flick.

Release date is 2014; take a look at the trailer.
