Now, this is my kind of project. An ultra low budget tribute to the classic ultra low budget gore flicks of the 80’s. Check out the films website. Here’s the info:-
Today’s horror films have lost the charm and fun of the classics from my favorite period for the films- the late 70’s and early 80’s. Movies like ‘An American Werewolf in London’, ‘Jaws’, ‘The Howling’, and ‘Friday the 13th’ were among the first horror films I ever saw and they left a lasting impression.
‘Rabid Love’ takes place in 1984 and is a rejuvenation of these classics. As a young child in the 80’s, the time period holds a special place in my mind as a mixture of dreams and memories. It was my intent for the look and feel of the era to come through in the settings, props, wardrobe, and most importantly, the characters of the film.
‘Rabid Love’ is my first feature film. My production team and I learned a lot during prep and production and many people volunteered their time to make it a success. I hope you will be interested to learn more about our little indie film after seeing the contents of this press kit.
