Welcome to 365horror, home to the 365 project. Back in 2009 I had a crazy idea to watch and review a horror film daily for an entire year. It was a difficult challenge, working full time, holidays, several weddings and other events, theatre and cinema: fitting in a film every day along with a review was often difficult, but it is and was possible. Through planning and structure and just squeezing films in when I could, I got through the project. The project gained momentum and towards the end there was media interest in newspapers, RTE Radio with Dave Fanning and the highlight, Radio 4′s The Film Program with Francine Stock.
So what to do with the site post project? After some time contemplating, I have focused on the promotion of independent horror projects, actors, films, artwork etc, as this is an area of real interest for me. The passion, enthusiasm and dedication of those striving to produce something fresh and original.
